Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 17, 2026

Biometryx ("we", "our" or "us") is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Information we receive when you use the Biometryx mobile app or biometryxapp.com ("Biometryx") or otherwise interact with us.

Based in Bulgaria, we adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure your data is handled with the highest standards of security and transparency.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We collect Personal Information about you from various sources to provide our precision health services.

Information Provided by You

  • Account Details: Name, email address, and demographic information (date of birth, gender).
  • Health Data: Biomarkers, information relating to your exercise regime, smoking, drinking, lifestyle, diet, sleep patterns, and body metrics.
  • Documents: Blood test result PDFs you choose to upload for analysis.

Information from Third Parties

If you choose to connect Biometryx with third-party health applications (such as Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect), we receive health and lifestyle data from these providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your Personal Information to:

  • Calculate your Biological Age and various health scores.
  • Provide AI-driven health insights and priority recommendations.
  • Track historical trends in your health data.
  • Communicate with you regarding your account and our services.
  • Improve our algorithms and user experience.

3. Third-Party AI Service Integration

To provide personalized health plans, optional blood-test PDF parsing, and quality monitoring, Biometryx uses two categories of third-party processors when you opt in via the in-app consent flow:

OpenRouter Inc. is an AI gateway that receives anonymised health-related prompts (for example aggregated scores, ages, body metrics, and recovery averages) and, if you use PDF upload, the file contents of your blood test report. OpenRouter routes requests to an underlying AI model suited to the task; that model may change over time as newer or more capable options become available. OpenRouter requires providers it routes to to meet consistent privacy expectations, including not using your data to train public models.

Noryen is an AI observability platform. For each AI request, Noryen may receive the same prompt text and model response content for reliability monitoring, debugging, and product quality improvement. No name, email, Biometryx account ID, or device identifier is attached to these analytics events.

Blood test PDF upload

If you upload a laboratory PDF, the entire document is sent to OpenRouter for parsing. Lab PDFs may contain additional personal data printed on the report (for example patient or clinic names). Only use this feature if you accept that risk, or redact sensitive fields before uploading.

We ensure your privacy through the following measures:

  • Anonymization: Requests to OpenRouter and Noryen do not include your name, email, Biometryx account ID, or device identifiers. Content is limited to health metrics and optional PDF data needed for the feature you triggered.
  • User Consent: We obtain your explicit choice in the app (including during onboarding) before any data is transmitted for AI processing. You may withdraw or change consent at any time under Settings → Privacy & AI.
  • Data Use Limitation: OpenRouter and Noryen act as data processors. Data is used to fulfil the AI feature you requested and for service reliability; it is not used to train consumer-facing AI models.
  • Equivalent Protection: We work with processors that offer contractual and technical safeguards aligned with GDPR and our own security standards.

4. Data Security and Storage

We implement robust technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Your health information is encrypted both in transit and at rest. We do not sell your personal or health data to third parties.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a user based in the EEA or using a service based in Bulgaria, you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service.
  • Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent for data processing at any time.
